Turnaround
Our current project turnaround time is 10-14 Business Days + Shipping(if applicable) from point of final approval of your mock-ups. Order changes/add-ons may increase turnaround.
If you do have a deadline for your order, it is very important that you let us know your requested ‘in-hands’ date when placing your order so we can determine if your deadline can be met. If you do not let us know about your due date until after your order has been placed and initiated through our system, we may not be able to accommodate your request. Any circumstances beyond Shop Strange’s control (ie: weather delays, shipping errors by the supplier, etc.) may also require more time and are not factored into the initial turn around time estimate.
Add-ons
Add-ons will be accepted for 7 days after the initial order is complete. You will receive the same pricing on the add-ons as you received on the initial order if an add-on order is placed within 7 days. After 7 days, add-ons will be treated as a new job and will be subject to new pricing and minimums along with a new turnaround time. Add-ons after art approval may cause a delay in production time.
Payment Terms
Orders under $1000 must be paid in full at the time of sale. Orders of more than $1000 are subject to a 50% down payment and the remaining 50% upon completion. Large orders that are shipping are subject to additional shipping charges and must be paid in full prior to shipment.
Art Approval | Mock-Up Proofing
All artwork is to be approved via digital mock-up through email so that there is documentation of your approval. Artwork must be checked for spelling, color, dimensions, placement of the art and accuracy of artwork by the customer. It is very important to look over every detail of the mockup, as this is how your garments will be printed. Shop Strange will not accept responsibility for corrections not implemented and/or requested after artwork approval. Any modifications requested after customer approval may result in production delays.
Screens
By default, commonly known in the industry, we will use the same set of screens per design ordered. That is, the graphic will print the exact same size, no matter the size of the item we are printing on. If you would like to have different screen sizes made for different item sizes, please let us know ahead of time. Each set of screens will be considered a different order with setups charged accordingly.
Example: You order 24 Adult T-Shirts with a maximum screen print size of 12” Wide x 14” High to be printed on the front but you also order 24 Youth Size T-Shirts so this would be treated as a separate run of shirts with different dimensions as to fit on the youth shirts. **We can setup youth sized designs on additional screens for $25 each screen upon request.
Backordered or Out of Stock Items
Shop Strange is not responsible for items that are backordered or out of stock. We will always confirm availability at the point of sale, but our ordering process happens the very next day after your order has been confirmed and double checked. If something is found to be backordered or out of stock your Account Manager will reach out with all the options. Please note this is an urgent situation as your order will be delayed until you agree to an option with your Account Manager.
Placements and Consistency
Shop Strange will not be responsible for placements that are within 1” of your preferred target if specified or at a standard placement target if not specified. There is no 100% accurate way to easily measure and hit the target precisely to the inch every single time because the garments are loaded by human hands on to our screen printing tables. You can request specifics like 3” down from the collar, 6” down from the collar, but you will have to know that each design will not be exactly at those points, there is a 1” area in each direction that we ask for as the target area” These will not be considered a misprint and Shop Strange will not reprint credit, or refund any of these shirts.
Shipping
Shop Strange will not be responsible for any shipping delays caused by the shipping company. Be sure to communicate any specific in-hands dates you need your project for at the time of original purchase of your project. Expedited shipping options are possible but will incur a higher shipping cost.
Examples: FedEx cannot deliver your package on time due to inclement weather. | UPS delivers your package to the wrong address (although provided with correct address) and you do not receive your products on time.
Holidays
We do like to spend a few holidays with our families and friends. For this reason, we are closed for the following holidays. These days will not be considered operational business days and will not count towards turn around time:
- New Year’s Day
- Independence Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
Returned Checks
There is a $30.00 returned check fee.
Pricing
Shop Strange reserves the right to change pricing without notice due to industry pricing increases, but we will never increase pricing on a current order.
Garment Disclaimer
Shop Strange is not responsible for manufacturer defects such as color inconsistencies, mislabeled garments, faulty stitching, and/or garment defects (holes in garments, separated seams, etc.). We try our hardest to inspect the garments as we print them, but please note we cannot guarantee each garment. We are not the manufacturers of these garments, so we do not ensure their construction.
Satisfaction Guarantee/Customer Supplied Items
Shop Strange works hard to make sure your entire experience with us is to your satisfactory expectations so we encourage you to provide us with your feedback so we can continue to deliver the experience you expect and improve on areas that you might think we can work on. Just remember, we are on the same team and communication is key to developing and sustaining a great working relationship. We recommend ordering blank apparel directly through us as the apparel suppliers we work with are designed and manufactured to withstand the decorating process which involves heat and pressure. We cannot guarantee customer supplied garments as they may or may not be designed and manufactured to withstand the decorating process. Shop Strange reserves the right to refuse certain customer owned garments that we deem to be unfit for decorating. In the event we do take on a customer owned garment project and there are errors in the decoration process we will not replace those items but we will do our best to replace with something similar, after all, if we say yes to customer owned garments that means we are confident in decorating them and will stand behind our guarantees.
Quality Assurance
We check every garment as it comes off of our machines and then through our Quality Control Department but there are times where some print imperfections make it out the door. It is your responsibility as the customer to check over garments as you receive them. We allow an industry standard 72 hour window from the time you receive the goods to notify us of any issues with the order. Shop Strange will not be responsible for errors with your order if notified after 72 hours of receiving the goods. Shop Strange will not be responsible for any lost income, customers, and/or contracts if defective garments are sent out to your final customer. While Shop Strange does quality checks on the garments, the final quality assurance check lies in the hands of you, our customer.
Claims & Reprints
We go to great lengths to ensure that every order that leaves our production facility is 100% satisfactory. All of our customers are greatly valued, regardless of size. Please allow for an industry standard percentage of spoilage(term used for defective garments and/or misprints). 3% spoilage rate is our industry standard so we recommend ordering a few extras to cover any defective garments and/or misprints at time of original purchase. Any order printed differently than the mock-up approved will be granted a reprint of the defective product. All claims must be submitted within 72 hours of delivery. Please email sales@shopstrange.org to submit your claim. If Shop Strange is responsible for any errors in your order, we will gladly accept responsibility for the issues and will reprint the shirts printed in error or grant you a partial refund or as a credit toward your next order.
We will require that you bring back or ship the misprinted shirts back to our shop (we will provide you with a Fedex label and will cover shipping costs). Shop Strange will not be responsible for any shirts sold or given away prior to returning the order.
Example: If you order 100 shirts and you’ve sold 15 but then you discover a print defect and you return only 85 shirts to Shop Strange, we are only responsible for the reprinting of the remaining 85 shirts).
